Lucas Oil’s Retro Rallycross Favourite Sets New Target

Reigning British Retro Rallycross Champion Tony Lynch will race in the British Super Retro Rallycross Championship in 2024. Lynch, who is currently in pole position to defend his 2022 Retro title, says:

“It’s the logical step. It’s the next big challenge.”

Since racing as part of the Lucas Oil brand, Lynch has won 5 of the 7 rallycross classes within his reach – some of them more than once. His track record includes:

• Two Minicross Drivers Association National Championships
• British BMW Mini Rallycross Championship
• British Motor Sports association Super National Championship
• Two British Trial & Rally Drivers Super Modified Championships
• British Retro Rallycross Championship

“Super Retro will be number six. It’s going to be tough but I have a great team and good sponsors behind me.”

A range of Lucas Oil products are used to enhance the performance and look of the race car. The oil products include 20w50 High Zinc Racing Oil and 75w90 synthetic oil in the gearbox. Rounds 5/6 of the 2023 Retro Rallycross Championship take place at the Pembrey Circuit (18-19 August) in Carmarthenshire, Wales.
