Le Mans Call For Lucas Oil

le-mans-ina

Lucas Oil has been selected to protect the engine in the ORECA 03 Judd- BMW car at the 82nd Le Mans 24 Hour endurance race.

The Swiss Race Performance Team, in co-operation with Momo Megatron, is looking forward to racing on Lucas Oil at the iconic event (14/15 June 2014).

Extensive dynamometer and track testing has helped to determine the ideal oil specification and additive mix required to deliver maximum output without overheating the powerful Judd engine, which was designed and manufactured by Rugby-based Engine Developments.

Engine Developments, which has a strong working relationship with Lucas Oil, is one of the few race engine technology specialists able to manufacture complete engines on site in low volumes.

Lucas Oil has an enviable track record of success in a host of motorsport disciplines throughout the world, so drivers Michel Frey (Switzerland), Frank Mailleux (France) and Jon Lancaster (Great Britain) and the rest of the team have the support of a reliable partner.

Les Downey, managing director of Lucas Oil Products (UK) says:

"A great oil needs a great engine and the Judd engine is right up there with the best. It's a fine car and a fine team and Lucas Oil is proud to play its part."
