Santa Pod & Lucas Oil Partnership at AutoSport

Santa Pod and Lucas Oil are extending their track and off track relationship with a joint appearance at AutoSport International 2014. Headline news is the Official Launch of the Santa Pod Events 2014 Calendar. Itdetails every event at the track from 19 January - 26 October 2014.

Star of the show will be FIA Top Fuel driver Chris Andrews and his Lucas Oil Top Fuel dragster. The 10,000 horsepower machine will be campaigned in the FIA European Championship where Chris will be blistering down Europe's finest drag strips at 300mph+ in under 4 seconds. The competition starts when the Top Fuel cars take to the track at the 1st Round of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship, which takes place from 23-26 May at Santa Pod Raceway.

Two young stars of the future from the Junior Dragster class, will share the limelight and help Chris to hand out Santa Pod and Lucas Oil goody bags to visitors and dragster fans. Paige (16) and Belle Wheeler (10), who received the"Most Professional Team" of the year award on behalf of their Alamo Rent A Car Team from the Santa Pod Racers Club last year, will be very special guests alongside the half-scale Prestige Alamo Junior Dragster

The Lucas Oil Slick Mist Car Care KIt gets its European Launch at the show. Thismarks the first move into the gift pack market by the US oil, additives and carcare products manufacturer.

Slick Mist Instant Shine, Slick Mist Interior Detailer and Slick Mist Tire Shine are the featured car care products in a kit that also includes an applicator and a polishing cloth.
