Lucas Oil sponsored Cadet Racer Albert Carter has won the toughest club Championship in the UK - The Trent Valley Kart Club (TVKC) Championship.

The TVKC Championship is contested at the long and fast PF International Circuit in Lincolnshire and has seen 78 drivers compete during the season over a total of seven rounds.

Having won the last three rounds and been a close runner up at another three Carter was the deserved winner. This win sees him join such famous winners at TVKC as Lewis Hamilton who won it in 1996 and Oliver Rowland who won in 2002. Les Downey MD of Lucas Oil UK and Europe commented, ``Lucas Oil Products are very proud to be associated with Albert. He has gone from strength to strength, he works hard, looks right, has talent and has achieved so much for someone so young. We see a very bright future together with him.''

Winning this Championship has seen an `on fire' Carter win 4 Finals, 6 heats, set 3 fastest laps, gain 1 pole and qualify 4th and 5th at the last 2 rounds of the MSA British Championships, all in the last 6 weeks!

Carter will be officially crowned at the TVKC 2013 Championship Awards Evening on Saturday 7th December at the Olde Barn Hotel, Marston, from 7pm onwards.
