(1th July, 2022) –

The rekindling of the UK trade exhibition season continued with a Garage & Bodyshop Event at the National Exhibition Centre, in Birmingham. The show attracted independent garage and bodyshop specialists, as well as distributors from the national and international markets.

Dan Morgan, sales and operations director for UK, EU and RU (centre) is seen here with customers Igor Harjo (left) and Lauris Kantoris (right). Both are owners/directors at X-Solutions, of Latvia. The company suppliers parts and lubricants to motor factors and retailers in the Latvian and Eastern European markets.

“The show provided a great opportunity to come over, meet Dan and discuss a few new ideas. It’s was our first time in the UK and we didn’t know what to expect, but there are a lot of suppliers here and it’s very well attended,” said Lauris.

After such as long break away from live events, the Lucas Oil experience was extremely positive. It was good to be in face-to-face contact with people once again!

Dan says:

“We met many garage owners who are users of our products but were not direct customers of ours. They were our customers’ customers. The feedback we drew from them was nothing short of terrific. We were able to answer their questions, but also able to introduce them to solutions that were not yet on their radar, but that we knew could be put to good use around their workshops. We took the opportunity to introduce Ceramic Mist, a brand-new car care product for the aftermarket, with the support of Bob Glassup, a brand ambassador for Lucas Oil.”

Bob, who races in Doorslammer dragracing events, supplied the car that was the focus of the stand. He was able to demonstrate the practical advantages of using the new car care product to a diverse range of visitors.
