With about 240,000 miles on my '96 truck, I've suffered with less than optimal performance from the transmission for awhile now. It took 5 months for my wife Debi and I to leave New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina but we finally sold the house and bought a house in Oklahoma. In January when I was pulling a 3,000 lb trailer with my 1998 Dodge Caravan I couldn't get past 55 miles per hour and I was burning gas up like crazy, motor running hot and noisy. At one station I noticed the Lucas Oil and Transmission treatment. First I put the Oil in and the Engine quieted right up (no more clicking valves) and the temp came down. Then I put the Transmission treatment in and got back on the road. It passed 55 easily and was able to cruise along at 70 without straining, stayed cool, quiet and decent gas mileage. Just this month I had a gas sensor problem where it would keep dropping to empty, low fuel light would come on and it would ding like crazy. My car was having trouble shifting out of first gear when cold and slipping very badly. I took it to a mechanic and and while the transmission fluid was clean, he flushed it and refilled with Lucas. I have not had any more problems shifting at any temperature. I was so impressed that I used the oil stabilizer to help quiet the valvetrain at start up. The engine is now much more quiet.

The transmission in my Jimmy had been slipping and I knew we could not afford to get transmission repairs done at this time. I purchased a bottle of the transmission fix and put it in and the results were noticed immediately. I am happy to say that the transmission has not slipped once since we used the product and that has been probably close to 3000 miles ago and still going strong.

HAHA I cant believe this...Im living in St.Louis and im moving to Mass next week, Ive been so worried about the tranny being able to make the drive...The tranny has been going down hill fast, slipping real bad and slamming into gears. I own a 93 Grand Am GT and recently the tranny started slipping terebbily I thought all might be lost but then I decided to drop the pan and replace the fluid ,filter and gasket so I did that and added a quart of lucas transmission fix.

I bought my ole 83 F150 a couple of months ago. I knew it had over 285,000 mile and I knew there would be leaks and such. Since I got such a deal on the truck I desided to make it a LUCAS truck. All I have to do is start my truck and pull it up a few feet and tell them to look where it was parked and show the results of no drips, or stains on my driveway. Then I watch their jaw drop. I bought a 97 grandprix used with 128,000 miles on it. It's transmission was slipping really bad when I purchased it, so I changed the fluid, filter and added Lucas transmission fix and it enabled me to get an additional 5 mos and 6,000 miles out of the transmission. Thanks- Justin

I had never serviced the transmission in my Explorer, guess I thought it would last forever.My automatic transmission started to slip occasionally when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear. I ignored it until it was doing it all the time.I changed the filter and fluid and it did nothing to help it, so I ignored it some more, after all, it still got me where I wanted to go.I was researching my issue on the net and my problem wasn't really common, but the results I got almost always pointed to lucasoil.com and their Transmission Fix testimonials.

The Explorer had other problems, it was cold outside, and we had other cars to drive so I parked it. My buddy ran across at least two wrecked Explorers and begged me to buy one for the tranny, but I resisted. After 9 months went by and new wheel bearings, brakes, tires, and a tune up, I decided to get it out and drive it some.

After another 1,000 miles of driving, the transmission has been healed! It shifts perfectly now, cold or hot. There is only one conclusion I can come to - Lucas Transmission Fix has fixed my Explorer transmission and I would not say this if I didn't believe it 100%
