We receive many letters and telephone calls from highly satisfied customers, both independent and corporate, who have used the Lucas range and been delighted with the results. Here is a small selection of some of the letters we have received:
The Easter meeting at Santa Pod was our first time with our new HEMI engine and with LUCAS OIL. We had some teething problems with our starter motor and flexplate, once that was fixed we made our first run, this was a checkout pass 7.21 196 mph!!!!
Back in the pits we checked over the motor and found it to be in great shape.....the LUCAS OIL doing a good job!!
Our second pass was a little less encouraging, a distinct smell of burnt transmission fluid and we also damaged Torque Converter. After stripping and cleaning the Bruno Drive (transmission) , we managed to borrow some needed parts for the torque converter.......refilled with LUCAS Trans Fluid and then made another check out pass 7.27 200mph!!!!!!!
Back in the pits we found the engine to be as good as new thanks to LUCAS and the trans, also looking good......now also using LUCAS products !!
A handful of other cars in our class had to retire due to mechanical issues , non of them using LUCAS products by the way........we qualified fairly well , whilst knowing we have a lot more power this year with our new motor.......
Our first round in eliminations caught us out with a gremlin in our ignition system, and that was us out of competition. Still we have come home with our new motor in great shape and our trans now using the same great brand of products.......not a bad weekend at all really.....we cant wait for the Main Event at Santa Pod at the end of May !!!!!!!!!!!!
Good morning.
I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee which has developed a leak on the clutch master cylinder. It appears that the replacement part is a complete master and slave assembly at over £300. The fluid is DOT 3.
Will your hydraulic leak stop will solve this?
Please let me know.
Jonathan

Hi Jonathon
Although the hydraulic booster stop leak is not specifically designed for this application I would give it a go as your only other option is to replace the master cylinder.
Firstly drain off some of the fluid and premix it with the stop leak before putting it back into the system (this is because there is no hydraulic pump to mix it).
You should go to about 20% ratio of stop leak to the total fluid
This should cure the problem if it is a seal leak but we cannot guarantee it.
Hope this helps

Good afternoon Steve.
I thought you should let you know that your product seems to have worked. It's been in for 1,000 miles or so.
Regards,
Jonathan
