SLICK WIN FOR DAMS F2 LUCAS OIL CAR AT SILVERSTONE

Defending F2 Championship motor racing team DAMS, took its first victory of the season Defending F2 Championship motor racing team DAMS, took its first victory of the season thanks to a lights-to-flag home win by British driver Dan Ticktum, last weekend.

After finishing 8th in the Feature Race at Silverstone, he took full advantage of the reverse-grid rule in race two. Starting from pole position, he took the chequered flag despite intense pressure over the final three laps of the 120km Sprint Race.

It was a very satisfying win. It follows a second place and a third-place finish in earlier rounds and underlines the progress that the team is making in the defence of their Championship.

The team uses a range of Lucas Oil products, including Lucas Oil Synthetic Racing Gear Oil and Lucas Oil Brake Cleaner plus exterior car care products that include the Lucas Oil SlickMist range.

The F2 teams return to Silverstone for the next round, which will be raced over the weekend of 7-9 August 2020.
