Brad Jackson Wins UK Super Pro

Santa Pod, England (October 6th, 2018) –  

York-based Brad Jackson powered the Lucas Oil dragster to a first UK Super Pro Championship win on Sunday (7 October 2018) at Santa Pod Raceway.

The UK’s fastest VW mechanic raced to glory after accumulating an unassailable points lead at the quarter-final stage.

Despite a lead of 160 points at the start of the final round, three drivers were in with a realistic chance but there was a feeling in the team that Brad’s first win was inevitable.

Heavy rain had turned the qualifying rounds into a lottery and race pairings were decided by an impartial draw. Despite this, Brad left little to chance and he delivered the result that his form this year had promised. It was a decisive victory.
