Santa Pod, England (October 6th, 2018) –

“We’re gunning for third place - not a bad result for our first season if we can get it,” he says.

It’s a first season in the competition for Smith driving the Bad Apple Racing Team’s 57 Chevy Snow White. The team has consistently improved its performances with each meeting and he thinks that Lucas Oil products have helped contribute to the team’s success:

“The support we have had from Lucas Oil Products has been fantastic all the way through the season. The quality is evident from the performance of the car and condition of the fluids. The Oil has been superb and the Jeff Bull built 582 Cu In Dart Big M Motor has been faultless all year. We generally drop the oil every two rounds as the motor is relatively new, but the performance has been fantastic. The Transmission Fuid has also been brilliant - and super clean on checks. The Lucas body care products have also been a godsend, particularly with a white car. They have kept her looking super clean from round to round.”

Graham says the long-term goal is to be the first street legal 57 Chevy in the 8s and there’s a good chance of achieving that this year at the National Finals.
