Lucas Oil has agreed a sponsorship partnership with Team HARD, which races in both the British Touring Car Championship and the VW Racing Cup.

One of the fastest growing additive lines in the consumer automotive industry, Lucas Oil, will be providing Team HARD with lubricants and additives, as well as providing the team with technical support.

HARD runs a Honda Civic in the BTCC and four VW Golfs (3xMk 5 and 1xR32)

in the VW series. These are ideal cars to prove the merits of Lucas Oil's 5W30 synthetic engine oil and a wide range of additives including Lucas Super Coolant.

Lucas Oil Products (UK) accounts manager Stuart Hughes said, "Involvement with Team HARD is a great opportunity for us. We are looking at different directions in which to promote our company brands and with their involvement in both the BTCC and VW Racing Cup, Team HARD will help us to reach a wider audience."

The Snetterton 300 circuit is the venue for the next rounds of the VW Racing Cup, this weekend. With recent race victories at both the Rockingham and Spa meetings, Team HARD drivers Richard Kingsnorth, Lucy Ramsden, Nikhil Chopra and 16-year old Henry Gilbert are in terrific form.

Team HARD Owner Tony Gilham said:

"We are delighted that we have been able to agree a deal with Lucas Oils. By working closely together we can achieve our ambitions and develop a long-lasting relationship."
